IN JCL,WE HAVE A STEP WITH TIME=2,AND JOB CARD CONTAIN TIME=3 WITH THIS WHT HAPPENED WHEN WE RUN THIS JCL

IN ENDEVOR WE WANT TO RETRIEVE AN ELEMENT BUT IT IS ALREADY THERE IN ENDEVOR AMD IS ACCESSED BY OTHER USER THEN WHT WE HAVE TO DO

The TIME LIMIT specified in JOBCARD will override the one specified for the step in JCL. And the job will run to good EOJ, if the TIME doesnt exceed 3.

ENDEVOR is for version control and only 1 person at a time can have control over that member. If you need to modify that member, you need to co-ordinate with that person, to get the member SIGNED-IN. Then RETREIVE the same.
