Aravind Kumar. S,

Follow the steps as below:

- Go to 3.14 option
- enter the string to be searched (in your case, member name) at the search field option
- enter the PDS name you think it might be available in
- select the option 2 for Batch processing
- enter as many PDS as you think for searching this member
- submit the JCL
- if you are lucky, you would get the RC=1 (search string found) else RC=0 (search string not found)

Hope this helps

Regards
Mayuresh

Hi Mayuresh,

Try TSO ISRFIND command and give member name which you need to find.

I hope this will help for you.

Thanks,

hi aravind,

here is the answer for your query.

type 'M member-name' on command line after you go to 3.4 and selecting some set of datasets by giving qualifier1.qualifier2.*

you will definetely get the dataset where the member exists. try it.

thanks,
