Hi,
I am getting error during compilation of a Cobol program.....MAXCC = 12...
me getting following error...
"IKF1197I-E LIBRARY BLKSIZE EXCEEDS 16K. IGNORING COPY.
IKF1197I-E LIBRARY BLKSIZE EXCEEDS 16K. IGNORING COPY. "
is it due to some option missing for compilation jcl?
or
need to specify some parameter or copybook library? |

Find the PDS in the copy concat that has a blocksize greater than 16K and remove it. |

No, and no. If you really have to use the OS/VS compiler, your copy libraries are limited to less than 16K block sizes. You cannot specify any option or parameter to change that. |

Have you verified with your technical support that you are using the correct compile jcl? |

Someone may have used one of the copy libs as output from a linkedit. Some people don't feel they need to use standard compile jcl. |
