go S;ST
type SJ on the left of the jobname you want to operate.
then clear the contents
write /*$TJ(jobno),C=0;P=13
in C and P give whatever value you want to change.
and submit this.
Try this out.
You can change the priority of the job even if the job is
in execution stage. |

actually it is a jes command.
You write /*$TJ(JOBNO),C=0,P=15
or any value you want to override in a dataset and
submit it.(i.e. in commandline write SUB & press enter.)
now you will see the priority of job has changes and class also.
I hope you get the answer or anything else you need. |

Hi
You can change PRTY once the job is submitted.
Go to SDSF screen. Then go ST - Status of job
Then place your cursor at PRTY column and change the priority with which you want.
Let me know you want anything else. |

Hi,
I agree with Nirav's reply. But your userid should have permission to change it. Normally administrators will have this access.
Thanks & Regards,

Go to u r job spool and resubmit the job after changing the priority .If the original job is still running and u have submitted the job again with the same job name then the second job will run after only the first job is completed. If the job name of the second job is changed it will run simultaneously with the first job. |
