Hi All,

I want to pass data from java to CICS program through MQ. I would be glad if some one could could give the process involved..

Detiails like
1. Details on CICS tables where the Transaction is linked to a MQUEUE
2. Will the Queue mangaer names & Queue names are defined in CICS
tables
3. How to Check whether MQ & CICS are connected or MQ is down

CAn we make the MQ as REad destructive...

need some more info from you.

Where is the MQ manager defined on z/os or some other os? is java code running on z/os or some other platform ?
