Hi I am very new to IBM Mainframe. Therefore I need Experts valuable suggestions to improve my skills in Mainframe Background. Please let me know what are all the topics to be covered in Mainframe and the most essential part of learning areas...

Dear,

As a beginner, you can learn MVS, COBOL, ISPF, JCL, CICS, DB2 Languages and then continue with REXX, PL/I, IMS or IDMS, FILEAID, XPEDITOR etc..

Try to learn yourself by downloading the free materials available in our site.

I want to work in my house, so I must buy ur SIMULATOR, right? But how much is it? And how can I give u the money? I'm in China. Thank u very much!

I also suggest you to try the Hercules based free mainframe Simulator to work from home.

Thanks! But I want to use ISPF, there is no in Hercules simulator!
