Element Retrieving from Endevor

Element Retrieving from Endevor:

1) Is it possible to write a utility (in REXX or something) to retrieve an element from endevor by using R command in front of element on "ELEMENT SELECTION LIST" panel?

2) Where does a source code of an element is stored in endevor?

First you try to retrieve element(program) using batch jcl by preparing system ---> subsystem --> Batch ---> 3(retrieve)...and enter required information to that panel........when batch job submitting to spool......use that batch job.....as a template and change every time to retrieve different different element from a endevor by changing it batch job control card....

Thanks a lot for your reply! :-)

As you said, I have JCL for retrieving an element from endevor and I can edit that and use it every time I need. But I was wondering if I can create an utility in which I will give "R" option against element name, provide PDS name and my job will be done. other details like PROC GRP, sys, subsys, TYPE will be taken from endevor (or something else ???) against which I type "R".
