I faced same problem once. I debugged that problem using DISPLAYS.
It was a problem with a LE compliant COBOL program calling a non LE cobol program.
Issue did get solved but I couldnt find the reason behind -ve offset.
I suspected some problem with ABENDAID. I am not sure through..
Anyone in the forum faced such problem before?

Yes. Presently. I have a similar problem with negative address. I'm unable to fetch the exact location because of negative address.
This is what I have:
Location:
Program Unit: Entry: MCDSEAI Statement: Offset: -000F5650
Possible Bad Branch: Statement: Offset: +000000A6

I see that the last reply was in Apr 09. Anyway, Hope to get a reply soon. :-)
