Hi
To Invoke a particular IMS DC Program .
We need to invoke the Screen associated to that Transaction., Enter Input on the Screen and appropriate processing of the input m,essages takes place.
But Is it possible to have MPP programs that have no associated Screen ?
I am trying to Analyse an MPP program that has
1) no screens associated with it (As mentioned in the Program Description, I have also checked for the MFS source library for the same )
2) And has IMS MESSAGE as the Input along with some other IMS DB segments
Could you please let me know how can Such MPP programs be triggered ?
Is it that whenevr some other Program Puts a particular message for this Program in the IMS Queue , this program is invoked.If so how is it possible to get a picture of how frequently this transaction is getting invoked. |

Could you tell me where I can find some reference material for Application programming that involve triggering of Secondary IMS transactions.

| I think you can find your transaction name somewhere in your source library. Other program or system should trigger your program. |
