There are two types in transient data queue(TDQ)

intra-partition
extra-partition

what is the difference between these two types?

The transient data intrapartition data set is a VSAM entry-sequenced data set (ESDS) used for queuing messages and data within the CICS region. Transient data extrapartition data sets are sequential files, normally on disk or tape; each queue can be used either to send data outside the CICS region or to receive data from outside the region.
