VSAM Performance with CA split or a CI split

Hi Guys..

Which will deteriorate the performance of VSAM More? A CA split or a CI split..

By definition, a CA split must since a CI split must have given rise to the CA split.

A CA split would be worse than a CI split as the read/write heads must search another area of the DASD to continue reading the remainder of the CA.
