Hi,
I just want some information on how to find the version of sub program linked to the main program.

I use IEL0AA compiler to compile my PL/1 programs and use IEWL to link the sub programs to my main program.

I want to know if there is any way I can find the time stamp(compilation) of the sub program linked to the main program.

Thanks,
OP

Hello,

If called the modules are dynamic rather than static, there will probably be no timestamp in the calling module for these called modules.

For finding the timestamp in statically linked modules, you might use the output form AMBLIST. There are several topics in the forum about using AMBLIST to get load module info. Here is a linke to one:

OP,
You can find the latest(Compiled) timestamp version in HLQ.Region.LINKLIB.

Not on most systems. . . That library exists on none of the systems i support. . .

Please do not post site-specific "standards" as a suggestion/solution.
