Hello,
I have some production datasets which I need to catalog to some other catalog. This need to be done to make sure that catalog reside in the same storage group in which actual datasets are. so that in case of storage group level recovery. catalog and datasets in that storage group, both are recovered.

That depends if other datasets of the same HLQ will remain in the original catalog, else you will need to look at using 2LQ aliases.
REPRO MERGECAT is the usual method used to move datasets entries between catalogs. |
