Hello,
If it is a single file, the sort would possibly be better than ADRDSSU or IEBGENER.
If multiple files are to be backed up ADRDSSU would be better. If the requirement might grow from one file to multiple, i'd go ahead and use ADRDSSU from the start. |

It is a single file but a very huge.
Record lenght of 20480. And there are around 20MM records. We want to keep a back up in tape once the validations done.
Which will have a better performance? |

Hello,
Typically, the sort will have better performance for a single huge file. |

Hi,
Why don't you experiment with all the utilities you are thinking about and compare them on the factors which matter for you. . . |
