my cics region is not responding …. I am also unable to give cemt commands …. I suspect some issue between db2 and cics … my compilations are also giving bind error …….. please help me in this regard... |

There could be a litany of reasons causing this, such as runaway task(s) (AICA), short on storage (SOS), region dump, etc.
You need to contact your CICS System Programmer.
There's not much more you can do....

my cics session got hanged but my other team member was able to give cemt commands and he did a force purge on all the tasks ...thats how the issue got solved ... i tried to look into cics job but could not make out from there .... i dont think my pgm went into loop .... how can we know the actual cause .... |

One way to know if your program is the problem (or contributing to the problem) is to have your task canceled first if this happens again. If canceling your task clears up the problem, that is a pretty good indication that there is something amiss in that code. . . |
