To open a VSAM file in File-Aid we need to give member name...
What will happen if we give wrong member name..
In my case different files are opening if I change the member name irrespective of the VSAM file name.
And how can we find the correct member for a particular VSAM file.
Please clarify |

To open a VSAM file with formatted display in File Aid you need the copybook member name that describes the file. To open the file unformatted, you need nothing but the data set name. |

Probably not ... unformatted view means you're not using any copybook for the file, just straight data. |
