Hi,
What is screen hold on jobs in CA-7?
I know it is to put the job on hold whenever it is getting triggered.
But, can some one explain it in detail? and also What is the command for that?
Thanks,
Anbu |

Hi Anbutheone,
Just Type 'JOB' on the top of the screen and press enter. It will show one window, give there your job name and the action to be performed. Then it will show the the current setings on that that job.On the tab 'HOLD' change the value from 'N' to 'Y' and give update. Then that job will be on hold.
Regards,

Temporary Hold
XQ,JOB=Jobname
then give 'H' for HOLD; & 'R" for Release.
For Permanent Hold,
JOb, XXX(Job name)
hen under HOLD option give 'Y'
You will see the JOb on HOLD & u can check
LJOB,LIST=NODD,JOB=XXXX
Y -- JOB SET FOR HOLD IN REQQ |
