Setting a date in JCL using TWS variables

Hi Guys

We have a job that uses the date parm YYYYMMDD(20091201).
This stays constant until last Friday of the each quarter month.
Last Friday of Feb changes to 20090301
Last Friday of May changes to 20090601
Last Friday of Aug changes to 20090901
Last Friday of Nov changes to 20091201

Using variable tables I can change these dates on the last day of the month but not on the last Friday.
Anyone any idea how to achieve this?

There is an exit for creating user variables where the logic could be performed to replace something like QTRFRI with the proper value. I used it at a former shop and don't recall the exit name. Check the TWS Customization or Installation manuals.
