I have 2 input files:
From 1st file i have extracted the related fields(eg:4 fields).
From 2nd file have to be extract and unstring it,coz its not in correct format as in 1st file.
After extracting and Unstring process over, have to compare the extract fields of file 1 with extract fields of file2.
And miscompares write to other file. |

Hello and welcome to the forum,
If you have a question about data manipulation, you need to post some sample input(s) and the output(s) you want from that exact input data.
You should also explain the "rules" to get from the input to the output.
It is best to also mention the recfm and lrecl of all of the files. |

ghouse basha,
From your brief description, I think this can be achieved using the JOIN feature available in SyncSort for z/OS. However, as Dick mentioned, we would need to see some sample records from each of the 2 input files, along with the expected output. Once you provide that information, we can further assist you.
Regards, |
