Hello and welcome to the forum,

Please clarify your difficulty. Often when delimited data is loaded into a spreadsheet, the spreadsheet often needs to be changed to accomodate the full width of the data.

If you can post an example of the data being downloaded and what you would prefer to download, we may be able to offer suggestions. Please do not post Windows documents as attachments or screenshots.

1) Please do not post attachments as many people are unable to open them, thus cutting down on the help available.

2) What has an XL sheet have to do with a mainframe ?

Hello,

You need to talk with your desktop/Windows Office support people to change the way the default width is defined on your pc (if that is possible - i'm not a Windows support person).

What you see is quite common - i've either just dragged the spreadsheet column wider or imported into sql server or access and used the data from the database.

Hello,

Not on the mainframe - the mainframe typically creates a delimited text file which is downloaded, then imported into some Windows app like Excel.

As i mentioned before, you need to talk with your Windows support (or possibly find a Windows/Office forum) and ask if there is a way to change the width of spreadsheet columns so you won't have to adjust them manually.
