Hi,
The problem we are facing with connect direct is that we have connect direct license for running only one process at a time. But In our application we are executing two process simultaneously now as we have connect direct license for running one process at a time, It will wait for the second process to complete and in a process the deadlock happens.
When we run our application on connect direct which have license for running multiple process at a time through different ports it executes fine.
We have two options to solve this problem:
1. One is to get the license of connect direct for running multiple process at a time through multiple ports – But We don’t want to purchase that license due to cost factor
2. To change our NDM script so that only one process should run at a time and we have to serially execute the process rather then in parallel.
Our problem is to serially execute the two processes one by one through our NDM script running on mainframe which is triggering process on Windows.
As I am new to NDM script, Please guide me with the necessary solution. |
