I have a table display that also has some fixed fields near the top of
the panel. I tried in vain to put the cursor on one of the fixed fields
by specifying the field name in the TBDISPL call, but was not able to. Is it possible to do?

Also, I also tried .CURSOR, but could not place the cursor in the fixed portion of the panel.

Hi Pedro,

I'm assuming you are talking about a fixed portion of one of the table rows, I used this and was able to place the cursor on any of the defined ZVARS
Code:
)INIT
 .HELP = DBAHELP
 .ZVARS = '(GERRY,GERRY2,SELECT,VOL#SER,VOL#LOC,DATEIN,TIMEIN, +
            LASTACT)'
 .CURSOR  = DATEIN
 &AMT     = CURSOR
 &SELECT = '_'

No, I am not talking about the table rows. I am talking about variables in the )BODY section of the panel, not the )MODEL section.

And as I said earlier, .CURSOR did not work.

Hi Pedro,
