Run a job twice in case of abend

Hi,

I have a Job which get triggered by posted by a dataset and has another job as requirement.

If the dataset comes twice then i want my job to run automatically but as there is one requirement and that has been used for that job for that perticular day so the job remain in queue until i run the job without requiremet.

Can i setup the job in a way that if the dataset comes twice then the job get triggered by itself without any requirement.

Please help .

I'm guessing your scheduling package is CA-7?

By 'requirement' do you mean pre-requisite?

If so, there should be no limit to the number of times in a day your job should run.

"If dataset posted and job A has run, run job B"

If the previous job B has abended, you may need to force it complete or carry out another action before you can run it again - which seems reasonable.
