Can we recover a deleted member for a PDS?

Can we recover a member of PDS, if it got deleted?.

it depends....
no chance for a PDSE dataset

for a PDS, if the dataset has not been compressed, Yes
search the CBT tape for free tools
www.cbttape.org for all the collections
http://www.cbttape.org/freepds.htm for a PDS specific one

A member of PDS got deleted accidentally, that was the reason why i asked about recovery of it.

that' s why expat asked about backups

the tools I pointed to are just substitutes for bad/missing/poor backup standards

if You have it, restore a backup where the deleted member is present

unless it happens too often to the same person, the storage group will be glad to help
