Hi,
I have to design a online system which is works for 24/7 environment, mean time the batch also runs. For this kind what are the things i need to takecare, if iam using 1. VSAM files and 2. db2 tables.
case1: through online iam using resources for enquiry purpose
case2: i have to update through online simaltaniously through batch also.
Please give the needful suggestions, expecting urgently

the only reasonable recommendation is for You to tell Your superiors
that You do not have enough knowledge for the task..
24/7 is not enough there is a lot more into the requirements to start with
the specifications and recommendation for a 24/7 system
take a lot of space ( at least 200 pages of good writing )
so it' s not a good subject for a full treatment in a forum
google for it and You will find lots of useful sources
for a project of such a broad scope is not reasonable to claim urgency
to tell the truth urgency is usually claimed for homework assignments |
