which is the fastest and efficient way

using IEBGENER OR MULTIGEN OR etc...

other than this kindly provide me the way and also method. also please explain why its more faster

Hello,

What is a "lot" of records? How are they stored?

Is this still running?

If you have a single qsam or vsam file your sort product is probably faster than either utility you mentioned for copying the data. . .
