Hi. I am compiling / linking programs in PL/Ifor Z/OS 3.5. When I try to run the program I get the 0C7 error. his only happens for PL/I MAIN programs i.e. PROC: OPTIONS(MAIN). If I write a cobol program to call this PL/I program it works fine. I'm attaching my Compile JCL, Link JCL. Program source and job output. I have cut down the source to a bare minimum.

First, using attachments is not a good way to get help since many cannot download your attachment -- use BBcode instead.

Second, posting your compile and link JCL is useless -- we care about the output of your compile and link but not the JCL you use.

Third, your code includes

yet the Language Environment Programming Guide specifically states the format is
Quote:
PL/I
Run-time options can be specified in a PL/I source application by means of the following declaration:

DCL PLIXOPT CHAR(length) VAR INIT('string')
STATIC EXTERNAL;
The STATIC attribute conflicts with your defaults.

Fourth, when you compile your program use the LIST option to get offsets and pseudo-assembler instructions out. This helps with debugging.

Are you executing the correct program? PUP71? or PUM7101?

While compiling you code, I got the below error.
