need details on Logoff

thru rexx i am issuing logoff and its working fine when I close all the ISPF screens manually

so can't we close all screens using rexx

REXX runs within one logical screen. Once it closes, the REXX is not in control to close other screens.

I've seen a method mentioned, that works by brute force, that issues a system command to CANCEL your entire session from within a REXX. This can leave unresolved issues such as EDIT recovery, etc. and is not recommended.

Here's a link that discusses issuing commands from REXX. If you can submit the C U=userid command for yourself then your session will end.

what about the console host environment
