Can anyone point me to the JES utility which does this? I have an unblocked DS and need to convert it to an LREC=100, RECFM=FB, BLCKSIZE=15400 ds.
I did do a SEARCH on this in advance - apologies if I missed where this has been answered in the past.

Just about any copy program will allow you to specify unblocked in and blocked out (IEBGENER, SORT FIELDS=Copy, etc).
Is there a reason that you think you need a special utility? |

William / Bill,
Thanks for replying. I'm very short on resources to look this up so I'm kind of searching in the dark. Didn't know if something special was needed or GENER or SORT could do it. If they can, can either of you indicate the necessary DD statement(s)?
Again, thanks.

Suggest you click on the link to the utilities manual that WT posted.
Also, there is a link for "IBM Manuals" at the top of the page. Many are included. . . |

You're welcome
If you find something in one of the manuals that is not clear, please post what you found and your question about it.
Someone will be able to clarify. |
