Hi,
I am trying to append the DB2 table having the below control card.
LOAD DATA LOG NO INDDN SYSREC00 RESUME YES NOCOPYPEND
ENFORCE CONSTRAINTS
INTO TABLE GNC.RTE_CD_DTL
Got the Abend S04E, and SQL status as -904 .
DSNT500I DSNUGBAC - RESOURCE UNAVAILABLE
REASON 00C200EC
TYPE 00000200
NAME DGNCTYDB.TGNCRTCD
Here in this when tried to explore found the that TYPE 00000200 refers to tablespace.
What might be the cause for the Abend?
Kindly help out. |

This is the cause for the abend.
The database is DGNCTYDB
Tablespace is TGNCRTCD
Repair the tablespace if you have authority.
The command is
Code: |
-start db(dbname) sp(tsname) access(force) |
Run it as a DB2 command thru JCL. |

Bharath Bhat,
The command you gave is for 'START'ing a tablespace. Is n't the 'REPAIR' command something like this.
Code: |
REPAIR SET TABLESPACE dbname.tsname NOCOPYPEND |
I would suggest verifying the status of the tablespace and act accordingly. If it is in 'Copy Pending' status, you would need a NOCOPYPEND. The action to be taken depends on the current status of the tablespace. |

Thanks for correcting me. But in my shop, We rectify -904 errors in the way I described. It works for us. |
