install CBPDO of z/OS

Hello all,

anybody who has an experience with installing z/OS from custom pack?

I'm just wondering if it is possible to install CBPDO to completely empty SMPE zones and what will be the order of install FMIDs.

As I looking in the program directory there they expecting lot of DS already exist. And there is also written to install it into old zones.

But if I want to have completely empty installation, not just "upgrade" from the clone system it is possible? (I mean allocate new DS into new MastCat, NUCLEUS, LINKLIB, MACLIB, CMDLIB included, new USS etc..).

I hope my question is clear enough.

CBPDO is heavily customized to your existing environment so it can be run as an upgrade. It may be possible to use it to create an entirely new system but it would be difficult, time-consuming, and possibly violate licensing (although I'm not sure about that, I wouldn't proceed without clarifying the license issue).
