Finding number of jobs in SAR

Hi frnds,
I wanted to calculate number of jobs present in SAR,
like i gave WGT0* , then more than 500 jobs with wgt0--- comes can i get directly a count of the number of jobs for wgt0* using rexx or any macro?

Two options;

1) You can execute the SARBCH utility with input of
LIST SYSOUT=WGT0*

That will generate a listing which you can put into a datset for further manipulation

2) You can investigate and experiment with the CA-GSS/REXX Interface

"SARBCH includes the CA-View host command environment to CA-GSS. This host command environment is accessed by the ADDRESS CA-View GREXX instruction.
The commands processed by the CA-View host command environment are the same as those that can be specified on the SYSIN control statements that are processed by SARBCH.
The report listing and messages issued by the command environment are queued for processing by the GREXX exec. The messages issued are the same messages that are issued by SARBCH. The report listings produced are the same as the report listings produced by SARBCH."
