Hi All,
Every day our batch will run and we have missed processing of the following file (last night file). If we change the generation to +1 then last night's file will be completely skipped. Please suggest me how we can process this file.

I believe you need to provide some clarification. . .
When you run "today" and specify +1 for an input, which generation would you expect the job to use? When "this" job starts, the most current generatoin is (0) and +1 can only mean a new generation - which confuses me as it sounds like you are trying to read the file that already exists.
Possibly it will help us help you if you post the problem jcl and a bit more of an explation of the problem showing a few sample generations and how you want the process to work. |
