I have define a VSAM file (KSDS) of record length of 100000 using spanned parameter and I cannot define same file in CICS.
How to define Record Size (KSDS) greater than 32767 in cics using CEDA DEFINE. (just fyi we are using CICS TS 2.3)
Is there any such option available in new TS 3.2 ? |

Since it is not required to provide record size in CEDA DEFINE FILE, could you provide a screen display (BB code) of the parameters you're using? |

I'm curious as to the value of a 100,000 byte record in CICS. Or even batch for that matter. |

There is most likely no business reason. . .
Sounds more like looking for a lazy solution regardless of resources required to support.
More and more people are trying to program like the mainframe is a pc
