Hi,
In IMS DC, for new transactions first we define the PSB(program) and transaction using the APPLCTN and TRANSACT macros. Then how do we relate this program or transaction to use a particular screen format? Do we also define MFS (MFS name or MID or MOD names) also using some macro in IMS DC after APPLCTN and TRANSACT. and how do we know that a particular transaction or program is using a particular MFS?
Thank you in advance.
Thanks, Kumar. |

Hi Kumar,
If you have the name of the MFS copybook, search for the same in the program in which it is getting used, usually the name assigned to mfld in or out is used in the program to route data to the screen.
Thanks,
