I am getting the following error..please help me in this case..

but i have allocated space for my output file...still getting the same message.. |

Unless you actually bother to post the JCL as well as the error messages how on earth do you think that we will know what you have or have not done. It is your responsibility to give us information, not ours to have to ask for it. |

Hi,
This is from manuals (emphasis added by me):

Explanation: No space was specified on the JCL or in the data class for
the allocation of the data set.
System Action: The allocation fails.
Application Programmer Response: Correct the space specification in either the JCL DEFINE statement or in the data class. Then resubmit the allocation request. |
To get better replies you need to post the JCL as requested earlier. |
