You better start getting used to a bit of cooperation between people working in the same organization
when somebody wants to know something without using the proper channels,
well..... it looks suspicious |

You don't -- getting this kind of data requires access to specific datasets that are usually highly protected; you don't want to attempt to access them and find out the hard way the security people are looking for you. |

Besides which, these are system settings and NOT SMS settings.

I suppose it makes a good signature line even if you do not believe/practice it. . .
As others have mentioned, it is best to work with the teams who support your system.
Just curious - why the interest in defaults values? |

thanks a lot for your kindly help.
I am just trying to learn more about the system settings.
The reason I don't ask system storage administartion is that the system is supported by lots of people in various cities and I don't know who the STA is..

Yup, a good thing to do for sure (you most likely won't usually use them, but may be good to know). The research is probably worth than the actual info 
We (the forum) can help with general info and specific help on "how to"s and abends, but for system specific info the best source is your system and those support people. Hopefully, there is at least an e-addr for the support people if you cannot talk with them directly.
