hi
i am searching for some answers for my below questions anybody fell free to give me that i'll be verymuch thankful to them
1.what is the diff. between proc options L and LS?
2. what (are sibblers) is sibbling?
3. what is the interactive tool to work with ims database like spufi for db2?
4.what is exception handling in ims, and how it can be done?
5. what are the tools used with ims?
6. what are the versions existing now for ims db/dc, vsam , cobol?
7. how can anybody merge a new proc to master proclib?
8. how can you check the database is up or down?
plz send me these i need them .

PROCOPT Defines the type of access to a database or segment.
L is used for load database
LS is required to load HISAM and HIDAM databases

Term used for the children of same parent sagment in IMS.
