Hi Rupesh,
Ask your Onsite coordinator to change the Management Clause of the Datasets which you want to migrate.
The Dataset will be Migrated regularly according to management clause selected. You need not take the burden to migrate the datasets. |

You can use the command
HMIG to migrate
HRECA to recall
HDELE to delete migrated dataset.
You can use a Clist or a Rexx to do it faster. |

But you want to migrate(from disk to tape)
or you want to preserve your dataset from the migration? |

Hi,
Thanks for your quick responses.
sudheer648 The management clause is 7 days. and we can not change it to 1 day to migrate particular type of records other wise other lib also migrated in 1 day.
MGIndaco yes I want to migrate the dataset from disk to tape.
Thanks

You can also generate the list of datasets you want to migrate in ismf and save the list. You can then use the command generator in ismf to generate an hmigrate command using the saved list. |

What philepeo says is right also you can use pgm=ikjeft01 and build a batch job to migrate dsn's in a bunch. |

Is there any reason that you have replied to a topic that has been dormant for almost two years ? |

You have done nothing wrong, just it seemed a little strange to see a reply to a thread that has been untouched for almost two years. |
