Is there anyway through which we can find the time/date of creation of a PS/VSAM file through JCL/program?

Hello,

Yes, you can use IDCAMS/LISTCAT.

There are multiple examples in the forum (use the forum search).

If you find something that is not clear, post what you found and your question about it.

Someone will be able to clarify.

To be more accurate, the IEHLIST utility LISTVTOC will show the actual create dat.

LISTCAT has the date the catalog entry was added. This may be different.
