To Change the record layout in FA

Hi,
My input file is a VB file with records of different formats. For each format we have separate record layouts.

While i'm looking for something in the file, i'm often required to view the file using different layouts.

Is it possible to change the record layout without closing the file and reopening it again with the new layout?
If yes, could you please let me know?

Create a new layout and you can use redefining the variable for the different layouts.

This will help you for a sigle layout, but at time of view you may have to know which layout will be the correct one.
