Dear All,

My current assignment is in to establish a communication b/w a UNIX server and a Mainframe server, basicall there are some UNIX scripts that are triggered via a Mainframe job, when I looked inside the JCL of the jobs, I saw a PGM called as UCMD (Universal command) being executed under one of the steps, could some one throw light about this utility and the parameters that are required for this program to function and is this program a custom made by installations or a common utility, that is available in all Mainframe machines .

Regards,
Thamilzan.
