Hi I have a requirement to store a file in such a way that it can be accessed by jobs in another center. i.e i create the file using a job is TSO20 region and i want to access it from TSO30 region. I have heard that we can use virtual disk to do so ?? can anybody point me in the right direction ?
Thanks,

Hello,
Suggest you talk with your dasd storage management people. They can tell you how to make files available to multiple systems in your environment.
This is often done using some sort of shared dasd. |

Hi All,
I talked with my DASD admin team and understood that by using a few specific volumes for file storage we can access it across centers.
for example VOL=ALL001,VOL=ALL002 and so on volume names allows access across centers in my mainframe shop.
thanks. |
