Hello,
Find reads a record from the file or member and parses the data area (limited by any left/right column controls from the session) looking for a "match" on the value entered when the command was issued. If the value is found, that line is where FIND stops and the user can continue.
If the value is not found in the first record, FIND continues with the next until the value is found or the end of the file is reached. |
