Thanks arcvns,

But there are some other places telling to use comp and comp-5. Which one would be the apt definition?

Hello,

The field needs to be a 2-byte binary field. Both comp and comp-5 are binary fields. . .

While you're at it, read up on COMP-5. You might want to start using that usage for numbers that can exceed 9999 for a 2-byte binary field or 999999999 for a 4-byte binary field.
