| I got an U302 abend while using IAMUTIL. What is the reason behind this abend and how to resolve? what is IAMUTIL? |

ask Your peers or your organization to provide You the IAMUTIL manuals and search for the meaning
of the U302 abend code..
IAMUTIL is not a program generally used, so the manuals are not readily available to everybody.
asking Your peers will be the fatsest solution.
U... are user abend codes and are program dependent |

Hi,
IAMUTIL is a tool which can be used to backup and recover IAM files.
Here is one example which I got: The following sample JCL dumps the IAM file named CC.TEST.IAM to a sequential tape backup GDG named CC.TEST.BACKUP.IAM.

By the way, when you say "what is IAMUTIL" sounds strange to me - you are uisng it & you don't know what is this used for ?..  ..
