| I have 2 programs which is in easytrieve but both the programs are taking one hour each to run. Can any of you provide me with any performance tuning tips for easytrieve. If data is more we are encountering this problem.earlier I used to have 30,00-40,00 records earlier and it took only 2-3minutes.But when the size was increased to about 50 times ie 15 lakh it is taking approximately 1hr 40 mnts. I wanted to fine tune it so that even in future if we encounter such a huge data issue it won't take much time.. |

| BLKSIZE is usually the single most important factor in reducing elapsed run time. Without knowing anything about your program or your JCL, it's difficult to offer suggestions. |

| I have given blksize as zero ie wat is doen for better performance I think..... |
