I just have a doubt..
I need to take around 1000 DSNs(PS) backups. Which is better to store
Tape or DASD (mostly with respect to cost )? |

| I would go for tape. But if you have HSM or another ILM software implemented then looking at that might save a load of time and effort. |

I would go for TAPE. In my previous project, we had an OPTIMIZATION exercise and by using TAPE's instead of DASD we saved thousands of dollars. |
