I know you can have relevant data written to output datasets. Have separate code in programs that only write to the warning datasets if there is an issue that warrants our attention, so if there aren't any problems (and the warning files are empty) no e-mail is sent out. But if there are problems an email is sent out to a list.
But i was wondering if there was a way to set up something that would email you the SYSOURs or what you needed in the SYSOURs without touching the code in the program
Or if there are anyother ways to do this please help me out.

Thanks So Much! |

This comes to mind:
Have the next step of your job be executed based on program return code. This step will issue an XMIT |

Hello Michael and welcome to the forum,
If you use the forum SEARCH (in the dark blue at the top of the page - a bit left of center) and look for batch email, you will find multiple topics. The 2 most common are smtp and xmitip.
If you find something in a topic that is not clear, post what you found and your question about it. Someone will be able to clarify. |

Michael, perhaps you need to provide more details.
My previous answer assumed that it was 1) a batch job and that it would set 2) a return code to indicate there was something needing more attention. I also assumed that 3) SYSOURs are an output file created by the program. |
