code 09 from a PL1 program

Hi,
I am getting return code 09 from a PL1 program.
What is the reason behind that. Please advice.

A PL/I program can produce any return.code Just the choice of the developer.
Inspect the source code and/or the SYSPRINT.

More info must be provided.
